guys, you can use ctorrent. Has been available for weeks. It’s a REAL and power command-line client. dTunes could work as frontend, but it’s working fine this way. Are you afraid of the console?

Your amazing… i love your apps, just keep the updates coming….
some thoughts,
if you could add a status bar icon (the logo)
and a quick menu like ipod.app

Absolutely fantastic!
I’ve already signed up! Everyone should note that this is a web based service so it doesn’t use ANY of your included bandwidth.
It will even SEED your torrents for you!!! Its a fanstic solution.

Great app, easily my favorite. I do have a couple of issues. The first is more of a request. I’m sure it’s already been stated that the original system used to delete files was much easier to use than the dragging method. The second is a bug that is very annoying. I don’t know if it’s just my device, but my dtunes is VERY laggy. Also I have a 100% crash rate. Everytime I open the app, it will run for a few minutes, but ALWAYS crashes back to the homescreen. Any sort of feedback is appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Hello. I found this app and i can tell that is THE BEST APP I FOUND SO FAR!!! I was searching for something like this for a long time (to continue to play me downloaded music while i have exited the app). I want to make some suggestions to improve the app so it would be perfect! You can try to fix the shuflle future because now it is not good ( it plays the song back and forth e.g. i have foud the app to play 2 songs for 3 times or 1 song for 5 times…). You can also make the app pause itself after some other music is played (eg you open a game that has music, the app stops produsing music but it doesen’t pause and you have to go back to pause it yourself). The last thing i want to ask ( i don’t know if this can be done but i’ll write it) when the app plays music, when you double tap the home button the music volume and change song apears and you can change the volume from there but you can’t change the song to go to the next or previous. If you could make the app get the full controll of the home double tap so you could change songs that dtunes plays while you are in other apps. That’s all from me. Thank you very much for this awesome app!!!

could it be possible to install dtunes without installing Safari Download Plugin ? cause i need another version of safari download plugin and i don’t wont dtunes to overwrite it ..
Or, could i simply make a copy of the folder Dtunes.app before uninstalling safari plugin, and copied it back after ? will Dtunes need something else to work ? will it worked with a modifed version of safaro download plugin ? (sorry, english is not my first language
)

Until you want to actually get your grubby hands on the content that is. If the idea is to use your iPhone of iPod Touch as a mobile computing device, ie you don’t get to go home and use your ADSL2+ to download the link provided by this third party subscription service.

Firstly, if you are resorting to a torrent, the file is obviously too large to get it off rapid share or it’s ilk without a fair bit of hassle. So how do you plan on resuming your 98% compete 2Gig file once it stalls in Safari seeing as the Safari download plug in does not yet (here’s a job for someone smart) support resume? I guess you are not! Annoying much? Having the ability to resume from multiple sources is one of the major design strengths off the torrent network.
Secondly, Pay for your torrent? Excuse me? Isn’t that the whole point?!
Thirdly, why not integrate it with the already ported ctorrent terminal app already available from Cydia? See Torrentula from the 1.1.4 firmware and it’s integration with a terminal torrent client.
Let’s face it anyone who is downloading torrents to their iPod Touch or iPhone does not need the supposed value added service of a third party unzipping their torrent for them.
hopefully you can be open minded enough to see these comments as someones viewpoint and not be a censor or legitimate discourse about your great application

Hey Mix_96..here is a dTunes.app version 2.5 uploaded by me…just unzip then upload dtunes.app to /Applications via ssh and set permissions to 777 and it will work with installous i have tried this

I went and bought the composite av cable from the apple store hoping to watch movies i got from torrent relay on my plasma. It didnt work.
the sound worked perfect but there was no video. Can u fix that or is there another app i can use to watch the movies that will work with the av cable?

You need the APPLE composite or component cables. They plug into the DOCK connector. Any other cables won’t work becuase apple now requires an “authentication” chip so you have to buy apple cables.
Its nothing to do with TorrentRelay. I’ve gotten it to output to my Bravia HDTV just fine, but had to buy the apple cables on ebay for about $10.
On a side note yes the saving isn’t perfect but it does work! I love iTorrentRelay so far!!!
