Insanely great app
Could improve the management of files in the download folder /private/var/mobile/Library/Downloads (accept subfolder for example).
Or add them to a dedicated iPod list, making them appear in the iPod section.

great great app. And I wasn’t sure if you knew this, but while browsing tinytube.net (lookin for porn) the app came up asking me to stream or download the movie. It was in .mov format. But it was not listed in the app as playable. I used iconmamder to verify that it was in fact in the folder with the music I downloaded. This is a great bonus but maybe give us easier access to the movies thru app interface.

hey great app I have a couple suggestions which might be cool to have:
1. Ability to rename songs( some times are named weird)
2. The ability to play songs even after pressing the home button, or going back to search seeqpod
3. Ability to play mp4 files
4. Ability to search other sites(google maybe a simple way just asking for the song and adding .mp3?$)
5. I’ll be willing to help on the graphic and testing part:] email me if you would like me to(KelvinA21@aol.com)

hi,
This app breaks the function of the BBC iPlayer.
After installing I get the download/play in media player box popping up on the iPlayer site instead of the streaming video.
Even worse is that uninstalling does not fix this.
The only way to fix is to re-jailbreak the phone.
Thanks mate. Good idea but try testing it a bit more before releasing.
I suggest you get a fix for this sharpish as the iPlayer site is hugely popular

Please note that dTunes does not affect anything on the iPhone (you can see a list of the files and where they are installed inside Cydia).
The issue you’re seeing is with the Safari Plugin. You need to uninstall that OR install BossPrefs and turn it off.
The combination of dTunes, Safari Plugin and the website download is the cleanest way to do this. There is no funny alterations going on inside the device.

This is a great app except I can no longer access iPlayer from the BBC.
iPlayer no longer works as dTunes forces the media to be downloaded even after being uninstalled.
Is there any fix for this other than re-jailbreaking my iphone?
Thanks,
Ali

I installed dtunes on my ipod touch but it would not work with AppShare. Could you possibly fix this?

dTunes dims the iPhone severely after the update to 2.2. Not sure if it has something to do with the new Pwnage or what. I noticed it because I touched the brightness button on the player and it killed the back light. Wasn’t able to override it with the brightness setting. removed dTunes and back light was normal. Re-installed and it went back to dim.
Any light(no pun intended) on the subject would be great for those who are experiencing this problem.
I really enjoy this app!
